As I am exploring the boundaries of drawing, painting, photography and mixed media.  I am open to new processes as seen in my egg shell paintings which incorporate eggshells with thin washes of acrylic paint and a thick yolk like coagulated acrylic paint.  I became interested in eggshells when reading about ways to create textures using acrylic paint, and I began using eggshells to simulate bark texture in my landscape paintings.  Now I am exploring eggshells as a form, as a medium on top of and mixed with acrylic paint, sea shells, dried lilies and burlap.
